HYDRA MARINE LLC
About Hydra Marine
Hydra Marine is a Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) supporting unmanned and autonomous systems across defense and government missions.
Built on Naval Special Warfare operational experience, work is focused on integrating, testing, and validating systems based on how they are actually controlled, coordinated, and employed in execution.
Operations are supported by a dedicated training and experimentation facility, mission command center, and company-operated platforms—enabling structured integration, test execution, and operator development.
This includes a DoD SkillBridge program providing hands-on unmanned systems training, along with structured test design, safety planning, and NDAA-aligned integration of defense technologies.
What We Do
A U.S.-based integrator and test authority for unmanned and autonomous systems—supporting RDT&E execution, training, and mission support.
Work is centered on executing integration, testing, and training aligned with how systems are actually employed—supporting ISR missions and RDT&E programs, not demonstration-only environments.
Work includes payload integration, system validation, and operational support across air, surface, and subsurface unmanned systems—ensuring performance holds during execution.
Execution is supported by a dedicated facility and company-operated platforms, enabling integration, evaluation, and mission support while maintaining control of the test environment.

Why Programs Work With Us
Programs rely on execution that reflects how systems are actually controlled, coordinated, and employed—not how they are demonstrated in isolation.
Hydra Marine operates within a purpose-built environment that brings together company-operated platforms, autonomy-ready systems, and experienced operators to maintain control of execution and reduce risk across test events and operational profiles.
This approach is informed by operational experience supporting Navy programs, warfare centers, and large-scale exercises, shaping test design, CONOPS development, and mission-aligned execution.
Operator development is integrated into this process through hands-on training, including a DoD SkillBridge program—ensuring systems and operators are validated together.

Proven Support
Hydra Marine supports integration, testing, and execution across U.S. Navy programs, warfare centers, and industry partners, including NAVSEA, NIWC, NSWC, and USV RON units.
Work supports the full lifecycle from integration through operational employment, including payload integration and evaluation across the REMUS family and related unmanned systems supporting MCM and fleet operations. This includes engineering support for the U.S. Navy’s Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) program.
Execution extends to large-scale exercises and evaluation events, including Trident Warrior, Steel Knight, and the Joint Exercise Series (JES), supporting unmanned swarm operations, autonomous vessel test missions, and advanced autonomy programs.
Robotics and autonomous systems training is delivered to defense organizations and leading OEMs, with programs including DoD SkillBridge and collaboration with public safety agencies, supporting real-world application of unmanned systems.

Operational Impact
Most unmanned systems don’t fail in development—they fail when performance doesn’t hold during execution.
Hydra Marine closes that gap by integrating systems, executing structured test events, and preparing operators within a single environment aligned with how systems are actually employed.
As an independent integrator and test authority, this provides third-party evaluation of system performance—strengthening confidence in results and ensuring outcomes hold beyond internal assessment.
